5 Websites Every Aspiring Entrepreneur Should Bookmark

entrepreneurship Jan 17, 2020

Starting a business can be daunting. With all the moving pieces and the fact that entrepreneurs need to wear all the hats, especially at the beginning, it’s easy to get bogged down in the details.

Well, good news - I’ve made it easy for ya. Here are a few websites that every aspiring entrepreneur should bookmark:

1.        Canva

THE site to go to if you’re looking to make a graphic of any kind. Twitter headers, website graphics, logos, presentations, social media posts, profile pictures – they can all be done on Canva and with their premade templates, you can make anything look professional and put together.

2.       Udemy

When you’ve tapped out Youtube and are ready to invest in online learning, Udemy has courses on absolutely everything you might want to know. You’re able to preview lectures to make sure the course content and instructor meet your expectations before dropping any dollars.

3.      HubSpot

Keep track of all of your client information (notes, files, contact information, etc.) for FREE. You don't need to spend copious amounts of money on a CRM (Customer Relationship Management System) like I did, until I smartened up! HubSpot is a powerful tool to manage your customers/clients. I love keeping notes about our conversations and their preferences so they know I care (like their favourite restaurants, kids names, hometown, etc.).

4.        SmallPDF

Send digital documents for signature, merge PDF's, edit PDF's. SmallPDF does it all and it's super user friendly. I love using the digital signature feature so that my clients don't have to print anything out - they can just sign the document online and we can get started working together! Easy peasy.

5.        Fiverr

You can get SO MANY things done on Fiverr by hiring a freelancer. It's especially great when you're starting out and don't have a budget to spend on hiring staff/contractors. I've used Fiverr to design logos, edit photos and documents, and so much more. Definitely worth trying out.

If you want to make things even easier on yourself, check out my Instagram post on 10 apps to simplify your business. These are also great tools to bookmark and check out when you're ready for them. Good luck!
